AMPHORA ART NOUVEAU DAISY DESIGN VASE BY REISSNER, AUSTRIA, ANTIQUE

Description

White enamel daisies dance across a gray-blue background highlighted in gold in this Art Nouveau Period vase made by AMPHORA WORK REISSNER between 1905 and 1910 in Turn Teplitz, Austria.
Sinuous vines and tendrils are incised in the clay, further echoing the Art Nouveau vibe of this sweet vase.  Tiny curled handles at the top of the vase are also washed in gold, emphasizing a delicacy to the design.  The entire vase exudes a light iridescence, much heavier in the raised enamel flowers.
This vase. in near-mint condition, is fully signed.  Impressed in ovals are AUSTRIA and AMPHORA.  The crown is the mark of AMPHORA WORK REISSNER from 1905-1910.  Also included are numbers 11648 and 64.
