    Description

    Antique Oswego NY Candy Works Longs Ox-Heart Chocolate Drop Wooden Lidded Bucket. Antique Candy Works bucket is in good used condition with some age/use/storage wear. Bucket has wooden lid and wire handle with wooden dowel top grip. Bucket is approx 5 gallon in size - Estimated based on size. Bucket body & bottom are all wood with two stapled wire straps. There is a worn original sticker which has Long's Ox-Heart Chocolate Drops - Made and Guaranteed by Oswego Candy Works, Inc. Oswego N.Y. - Trade Mark Registered. Outside body and bottom has wear - stains, what looks like white paint from previous owner & label is worn/torn/missing at spots.Inside is overall nice and pretty clean. Original lid has wear and writing. Lid has original nail holes. Outside of lid has wear and staining from age/use/storage. Some of the writing says - Charles Townsend Howells NY, Erie, candy. Interior lid side is nice. There is also a 4" crack is the lid (last picture). Buckets measures approx. 13 1/2"H with Lid (Handle Down) - 20"H with Handle Up x 14" Top Diameter x 11" Bottom Diameter. Overall Nice Antique Piece. Comes as seen ion pictures and described.
