Antique Robert Hanke Austrian Porcelain Ewer or Pitcher

Description

This gorgeous pitcher is a fine example of the elegant fine porcelain produced by the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory in Austria. The exquisite details in this piece are beautifully ornate, a Victorian style shape with a floral design set against matte cream with gold gilt detailing. The Robert Hanke factory was founded in 1882 and closed in 1945.
The pitcher or ewer is 10" tall and 6" wide. There is a small chip on the rim of the mouth of the ewer (see photographs), which does not detract from the beauty of this piece. There is a tiny manufacturer's defect, a tiny, dark depression (also pictured).
The base carries one of the well-documented RH Austria marksof the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory.
