Malcheski Composites Adjustable tiller extension.
Auction is for  1  Malcheski Composites,   Carbon fiber, adjustable length, tiller extension. ( different connectors can be used.)
Made for catamarans/dingy
Made from unidirectional prepreg carbon fiber, with a beautiful carbon twill cover layer on outer tube. 250 degree F autoclave processed.
I use a longer version of this same tiller extension on my Tornado catamaran.
Half of the people I sail with use these extensions.
Light weight    Weighs 410 grams with the 1/4" pin end option.
62" collapsed length and 115" length extended
The common rubber connector fits inside just the way it comes ( pic 4). The common rubber connector can be seen in PIC 4 installed in the extension in this picture. Just drill a small hole to insert a screw to hold it in.
I can supply an end to use the common 1/4" pin.  (pic 2-3).  This is a common choice for stock set up on many catamarans. I will include the portion that is epoxied into the tube free. You will need to contact me through ebay to let me know. ( Contact seller on right side) I will epoxy the end in.
The inner tube is repairable. This repair is shown in 5th picture. l supply 1 carbon fiber repair ferrule for the inside tube at no additional cost. FREE
