    Description

This adorable set has been in the family for 100 years or so.  It includes twelve plates, six cups with saucers, an ornate boat-shaped creamer and a sugar shaker, all hand-painted with small blue and white flowers amidst some vines.  The cups and saucers also include a hint of blush pink.   The set is marked "Holmes--" on the bottom.  The china mark is M.Z. Austria, used by Moritz Zdekauer on porcelains made at their Altrohlau, Austria, from 1884-1909.
The plates are 8" across.  The cream boat is 3.5" wide by 7.5" long by 3" tall.   The sugar shaker is 4.5" tall and 9.5" in diameter.  The saucers are 5.75" across and the cup 3.75" across and 2" across.
Also included are one extra cup without a saucer -- always good to have an extra!  This cup is identical to the others but does have a small black dot of ink inside as shown in the photos.  There's a 4.75" plate (for a doll, perhaps?)
