Set of six EMPIRE I plates measure 9 3/4 inches in diameter and are in used condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. There is wear to gold on interior and exterior of the cobalt band. There are also utensil scratches consistent with age and regular use. Pattern is believed to be early 1900's. Gorgeous, colorful floral pattern pops against pure white background. Cobalt blue rims are a nice contrast. as well. Despite wear and scratches, the beauty of these cannot be denied. See photos for more of pattern details and back stamps.
