  • Condition: The base has been broken off at one time and glued back on. There are some repairs to the collar and appear to be several small repairs to chips around that hat. Also has a few chips to the edge of the hat that have not been repaired, a few chips to the flower on her right shoulder and to the lace at the neckline, and one chip to the left sleeve, as well as some wear to the paint along the edges.

    Late 19th Century Austrian Hand Painted Terracotta Woman With Hat Figurine Bust

    Late 19th century hand painted terracotta bust of a woman with a feathered hat. Unmarked except for a number on the base. Probably made in Austria.
    The base has been broken off at one time and glued back on. There are some repairs to the collar and appear to be several small repairs to chips around that hat. Also has a few chips to the edge of the hat that have not been repaired, a few chips to the flower on her right shoulder and to the lace at the neckline, and one chip to the left sleeve, as well as some wear to the paint along the edges.
    Measures approximately 7 3/4 inches wide x 14 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
