OE & G Royal Austria Art Nouveau Small Painted Pink Roses Cabinet Plate

Description

An O & EG Royal Austria 6" porcelain plate. Gold trim on rim. White porcelain painted in shades of yellow as a backdrop to soft, pale pink roses with green foliage. Brown rose stems are painted to encircle the plate. O & EG stands for Oscar & Edgar Gutherz Pottery and Porcelain made near Altrohlau. Backstamp on back of plate dates 1899 to 1918. The Art Nouveau period. No cracks or chips. There is a small scratched area in center of plate (see photos) and there is some wear to the gold trim. Such a lovely plate.
I search garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores for the items I list for sale.
Items are thoroughly cleaned/washed.

Artificial light can cast an amber/yellow glow upon items, esp linens.
