    Description

    Very rare and original, ca1910 Coca-Cola Pepsin Chewing Gum Countertop Candy Store Show Globe / Candy Jar.
    This exceptionally rare, Early American Pattern Glass Coke Chewing Gum Display Jar measures approx. 11” tall and 4 1/4” square at the base. It features embossed text on the front panel that reads “Coca-Cola Pepsin Gum” and embossed text on the rear panel that reads “Manufactured By Franklin Mfg. Co / Richmond VA”. The Jar comes with a period ground stopper that fits well but is not original to the Jar – the stopper is from an early Heinz Pickle Countertop Display Jar.
    This very rare, Coca-Cola Pepsin Chewing Gum Countertop Display Jar is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original Candy Store Jar manufactured in the early 20th century for The Coca-Cola Company and supplied to retailers for the display and sale of Coca-Cola Pepsin Chewing Gum.
    This original, early 20th century Coca-Cola Chewing Gum Show Globe / Candy Jar is in very good condition and displays nicely. The body of the Jar is clean and clear however there are some small chips on the flared rim at the top of the Jar. There no other chips or physical damage to the body of the Jar. As stated above, the Jar comes with a period although not original, ground glass stopper from a Heinz Display Jar. That stopper is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind.
