    DESCRIPTION:
    (
after the description there are many more photos, look at them all)
Superb pair of polychrome terracotta busts depicting two Tyrolean or Austrian children or two mountain boys. Made by the famous Austrian artist Bernhardt Bloch (1836-1909) in the late 1800s. This artist boasts numerous auction results and his terracottas and sculptures are very rare and are sold at very high prices. Especially those with a glossy patina like these two busts. Just look at the photos at the bottom where, for a sculpture of an African child sitting on a chair, € 12,000 is asked, even if it must be said that the sculpture is very large, 106 cm tall, sitting, so I would say life-size, but however € 12,000 is a very high price. Then on ebay there are other examples, always see below, but the one that most resembles the quality of these two fabulous busts, in my opinion, is precisely the sculpture proposed at € 12,000. Under the base of the bustiers there is the numbering, the double B, the author's signature, and two stamps attributable to some auction, very old judging by the oxidation of the paper, in which this pair of busts participated. What can I say, fabulous, beautiful faces, the color of the complexion, the lively and sweet expressions at the same time. Beautiful the girl's handkerchief, as well as the shawl and the medal detached from the body, as well as the child's hat with the
    feather
, his eyes and that smile so dynamic that it seems he is smiling when you look at him. Beautiful antique patina and beautiful satin glazing. I assure you that live they are even more beautiful. The bases are in terracotta but refer to the wooden spool bases from the 1800s used for bronze bustiers. Fabulous ... not to be missed !!

    OUR SHIPMENTS:
    .
    ..
    O
ur shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all
shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes. This means that the package is much larger and heavier and therefore the cost of shipping increases, not to mention all the work necessary to carry out a similar packaging and the cost of the various materials used.
    .
For particularly delicate and/or expensive items, it is mandatory to participate in 50% of the insurance cost, therefore half of 3% of the amount spent, including the shipping cost.
THE INSURANCE WILL BE STIPULATED BETWEEN ME AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY, WITHOUT APPEARING IN THE SHIPMENT.
THIS TO AVOID FOR THE BUYER HEAVY TAXES ON OBJECT ARRIVAL.
    .
With our packaging it is practically impossible for the object to be damaged without the external box not being heavily damaged, therefore, in the rare case that the object arrives damaged, you must keep the box and send us photos of the damaged part to obtain the refund from insurance.
