This auction is for a matched PAIR of Nicro Marine Sailboat Snatch Blocks, with the scarce extremely HEAVY DUTY large snap shackles. From a cruiser's spares- They are in very good condition, with some very lightest signs of having been in the lazarette of a cruising sailboat. They can accomodate quite large diameter line, and would be excellent blocks for vintage or modern sailboats. They still look great with the stainless-steel remaining bright and shiny.
Heavy Duty metal sheaves can accept large diameter line.   There are 16 Photos showing their details and condition.
This pair of blocks is NOT the standard NicroMarine/ Ronstan snatch blocks with the smaller, lighter shackles- They have the large shackles,  big enough to mount on virtually any toe rail or BEEFY mounting point. Details are visible in the photos. They lock and latch TIGHTLY, with the sheave bearings remaining in perfect condition.
These MASSIVE Snatch blocks can be used for a MULTITUDE of sailing or cruising applications- Rigging a quick purchase, setting the sheet lead on jib or spinnaker. Rigging a quick down or outhaul. Especially handy if it's ever necessary to set a jury rig in an emergency. Very high quality blocks. They will accept any line to 5/8" in diameter. Blocks measure about 6 5/8" overall.
