This auction is for a matched PAIR of Large SCHAEFER HD STAINLESS-STEEL HALF MOON MAST BASE/ TURNING LEAD BLOCKS for deck or cabintop applications, which can accept large diameter line.  The blocks have been previously mounted, showing some light signs of use and still remain tight and solid.  These were extremely expensive BIG BOAT GEAR.
Accept line to 5/8", possibly 3/4".
Hinged Half Moon Spring Loaded Blocks to provide a positive lead to large diameter lines.
Model is similar to Schaefer model Half-Moon Mast Base/Fixed 32-15, but considerably larger.   Great for use as Mast BaseTurning or Genoa Lead Blocks.
STAINLESS frame and base construction, with 3 1/4" Marine alloy metal sheave.  Accept line to 5/8", possibly 3/4" in diameter.   Four bolt mounting.   These are the LARGEST SCHAEFER HALFMOON BLOCKS, available by special order.  Measuring about  5 1/2" at base and standing 5 3/8" tall.
Though these are heavy and substantial blocks, the stated USPS Priority shipping cost is correct anywhere in the U.S.
A very HARD TO FIND configuration and rarely parted with used.  These blocks ran about 0.00 EACH (The smaller Schaefer Half-Moon Mast Base/Spring Loaded Hinged 32-15 lists for 0+), yet the PAIR is offered with an extremely .......................Low Starting Bid.
