    Description

    "Vintage Sidekick Spark Plug"
    I am offering a vintage candy container. This candy container is Spark Plug who was the character Barney Google's sidekick. It is marked King Feature Syndicate Inc. and Copyright 1923. on the base. I have seen pictures that show this item may have been painted at one time. There are no remnants of paint on this one. I'm not a spring chicken, but since this piece is almost 100 years old, I don't know if it ever had paint or not. Even before my time!!! The piece measures approximately 3 inches in height, 4 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches in width. I believe at one time there was a bottom closure, but this one has none. The base has two chips. Please look at the photos. Otherwise, it is good. Mold imperfections of the period of course. Neat very, very old collectible!
