Detailed Description
Elegant water lilies grace four new stamps from the U.S. Postal Service®.
Each stamp depicts a close-up of the flower of one of four classic garden water lilies. The photographs were shot in summer at the Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C
Water lilies are aquatic herbs that live in both temperate and tropical climates around the world; they are found in still freshwater habitats. There are more than 50 species in the water lily family (
Nymphaeaceae
) and hundreds of hybrids.
The flowers of the hardy water lily sit at or slightly above the water’s surface; the flowers of tropical water lilies, which produce more blossoms each season than the hardy variety, are held aloft on stems several inches from the surface.
Although delicate looking, hardy water lilies are tough and grow well in much of the U.S. Tropical water lilies, which require water temperatures above 70 degrees, have a more limited range, but the flowers are larger and more vibrantly colored. Water lilies bloom in the U.S. from spring to fall. Many water lilies bloom only during the day, but there are several night bloomers whose flowers open in the late afternoon and close at morning’s light.

Shipping & Handling Time
Most of the items (except Pre-order items and FDC) will be sent out
within 1 business day
after you pay the invoice.  Please review the positive feedback from the buyers.  The actual delivery time varies due to the destination.
Shipping & Handling Fee
I am trying to offer the lowest shipping fee if possible.  The item will be sent out via USPS standard mail (or first class mail) with no tracking number.  I will take a picture of the package as proof of delivery.  The shipping fee is listed as below -

First Item (International) -

USD .83 and USD .84, depends on the destination
Each eligible additional item (USA / International) -

Combined Shipping Discount
The combined shipping discount can be applied only on the items showing up
in the same invoice

Important tips to save shipping fee -
If you are purchasing multiple stamps through "Buy it now" option, please make sure
all the items
are in the basket before any payment.  Please review the invoice carefully to ensure all the items are listed there so that eBay System can apply the combined shipping discount properly.
Otherwise, eBay / PayPal will charge the FULL shipping fee for each item and they withhold the transaction fee & commission based on FULL shipping payment.  There is no easy way to refund the difference unless we cancel all the transactions one by one.
