Vintage Amphora Austria Art Nouveau Jardinaire

No style beyond Art Nouveau captures the elegance and mystery of the natural world. This piece of Amphora Porcelain from Austria is a perfect example. It is quite interesting and unique. (1892-1945)
The darkest teal edge in a gloss glaze but the body of the vessel is a beautiful flat.
This piece is the depiction of a long beaked bird - the entire vessel is a wing pattern and the bird head and by extension their beaks form the buttresses around the edge of the bowl standing off from a circular pedestal. The entire piece is round. The feather portion is underplayed and decorated with detail of the feathers carved into the body with raised beads of decoration.
This piece plays the gloss and flat into the design in a gorgeous form.
The interior is a brown gloss and has, as shown a portion of the gloss glaze which did not extend across the bottom.
It is marked with Amphora hallmark, Austria in an oval, incised S 10521 and the Crown Hallmark.
It measures 2.75" tall. It is 5.25" in diameter at the top opening and the base is 3" in diameter.
