Vintage Purina Dog Chow Novelty Print Promo Ad Sleeping Bag Cut Fabric
This vintage Purina Dog Chow novelty print promo ad sleeping bag cut fabric dates from the 1960s. It is made of a sheer lightweight polyester fabric with a bright colorful ad print for Purina Dog Chow with a beagle, German shepherd, collie, springer spaniel, pointer and boxer dogs pictured on it. This wonderful whimsical novelty print fabric is a promo ad made to look like the Purina Dog Chow food bag and would have been part of a special limited edition promotional sleeping bag which has been cut leaving only the cover remaining. The fabric measures 55 inches long and is 36 inches wide. It is in good as-is condition, has not been laundered and has some faint foxing age spot stains and has been cut off at the bottom. Ready to be upcycled, this is truly a wonderful piece of retro advertising graphic textile art!
