This is a glass rat with original candy that is a souvenir of Hemeln Germany which is the city the Pied Peper supposedly drove all the rats into the river. It is embossed Gruss aus Hameln which translates to Greetings from Hameln. It measures 5 1/4" long by about 2" tall. The cork is still in the top with a plastic lid. Very rare find.
