Description

A little background of where this scarce image comes from. Seems to be an unpublished shot of her from a 1953 issue of
Carnival
magazine. This shot came from the Texas pose. I know this because for each state she posed for, she wore a different outfit. Apparently, these were shots of Bettie Page demonstrating for readers the various legal constraints on disrobement for strippers in different states, with Kansas being the most conservative and Louisiana being the least. The pose that actually made the magazine looks entirely different from the photo that I am selling in this listing. PICTURE # 2 AND #3 IS TO SHOW YOU WHERE THE IMAGE COMES FROM. THE MAGAZINE IS NOT FOR SALE.
I guarantee you won't find another photo like it!!! 1950's Bettie Page Photo measuring in at 5x7. Vintage and original. NOT A REPRINT. The photo is in very good condition with writing and stamping on the backside. The pencil writing on the backside can be seen through the front side slightly due to too much pressure when it was written on. The magazine itself is already a rare gem and only one person has it up for sale on ebay for a few hundred bucks. This listing is for the 1 photo only. No magazine. A first timer in my Bettie Page collection and I've collected over 200 Bettie Page photo's throughout my 10 year journey. Never have I had this come across my presence or knew of its existence. I'm not sure who the photographer is. The condition is very good with minor wear such as creases, stains and surface scuffs. Might not list this multiple times due to how scarce it is. I'll try to sell it at the listed price and see how it goes. If it doesn't sell, it's going back in my collection with the rest of my rare Bettie Page photo collection. Offers are welcome but no low balling please. Don't miss out!!! Ask questions before bidding. Thanks for looking!
